The Two - Way Traffic Temporary road sign (TW212) is a W Series warning sign used to alert drivers that the road ahead carries traffic in both directions. It is used where traffic patterns have changed temporarily, or where an existing one-way arrangement is suspended.
Purpose and function
This sign provides advance warning so drivers adjust speed, keep left, and anticipate oncoming vehicles. It is especially important where temporary works, lane shifts, or detours create the risk of head-on conflict.
