The Sharp Junction (Left) road sign (W112) is a road layout warning sign used to alert drivers that a sharp junction joins from the left ahead. It is used where an intersecting road enters at an acute angle, creating a higher-risk conflict point that drivers may not anticipate.
Purpose and function
This sign provides advance warning of an angled junction from the left, helping drivers reduce speed, scan earlier for cross traffic, and prepare for vehicles entering or turning across the travel path.
