The Scholar Patrol Ahead temporary road sign (TW305) is a symbolic warning sign used to alert drivers that a scholar patrol is operating ahead. It is supplied for temporary use at school crossing points where children may enter the roadway and where traffic may be controlled by patrol members.
Purpose and function
This sign warns drivers to slow down and prepare to stop as instructed. Scholar patrols may display handheld stop signs, and children may cross from either side, requiring immediate driver caution and compliance.
