The Length Limit road sign (R205) is a regulatory prohibition sign used to indicate the maximum permitted vehicle length beyond the sign. Vehicles exceeding the displayed length are not allowed to proceed.
Purpose and function
This sign prevents long vehicles from entering routes where road geometry, turning space, or structural limitations would create a safety risk or obstruction.
