The Combined Curves road sign (W211) is a W Series warning sign used to alert drivers that a sequence of curves is approaching, first bending in one direction and then back in the opposite direction. It warns drivers to reduce speed and prepare for multiple alignment changes.
Purpose and function
This sign provides advance warning where the road alignment changes more than once in quick succession. It supports safer speed choice, improved lane positioning, and reduces loss-of-control risk through the curve sequence.

- Roads with successive bends where the second curve is not immediately visible
- Rural routes, mountain passes, and routes with restricted sight distance
