The Beginning of Dual Roadway (to left) road sign (W119) is a W Series road layout warning sign used to alert drivers that the roadway is becoming dual carriageway ahead, with the additional lane or carriageway developing toward the left-hand side. It provides advance warning of an increased roadway capacity and changing lane configuration.
Purpose and function
