The 3 Way Stop Sign road sign (R1.3) is an R1 Series control sign used at three-way intersections to require every approaching driver to come to a complete stop before proceeding. It formalises right of way, reduces conflict, and improves safety where traffic streams meet.
Purpose and function
This sign enforces a full stop at the stop line (or at the sign position if no stop line exists). Drivers may proceed only when it is safe and when right of way is clear, according to standard stop-control rules.
Typical applications
- Three-way intersections with limited visibility or higher risk of conflict
- Access roads and internal road networks on estates, campuses, and industrial sites
- Temporary traffic control points where a permanent stop requirement is needed

- Permanent road sign supplied on 1.2 mm Chromadek steel
- Class 1 retro reflective sign face, enquire if Class 3 is required
- Poles, clamps, nuts and bolts are not included, email us if you require a quote
- Unistrut included with the 1200 mm size only
- Please confirm stock availability when ordering road signs
- Remember to order the correct size clamps for the poles you will be using if ordering unistruts on your road signs

- If there is no stop line, stop in line with the stop sign
- Proceed only when it is safe and right of way is clear
