The T-Junction road sign (W104) is a road layout warning sign used to alert drivers that a T-junction is located ahead. It is installed where the road terminates at another road, requiring turning or merging decisions at the intersection.
Purpose and function
This sign warns drivers that through travel ends and a junction decision is required. It supports safer approach speeds and reduces late braking where drivers may not expect the road to end at an intersecting route.
