The Side-Road Junction (Right) road sign (W108) is a road layout warning sign used to alert drivers that a side road joins from the right ahead. It is used where turning movements or cross traffic may create a conflict point that requires increased driver attention.
Purpose and function
This sign provides advance warning of a junction from the right so drivers can adjust speed, scan for entering traffic, and prepare for vehicles turning across or into the roadway.
Typical applications
- Public roads with side-road intersections
- Industrial and estate access roads
- Approaches with restricted visibility or higher approach speeds
