The Sharp Junction (Half-Left) road sign (W111) is a road layout warning sign used to alert drivers that a junction joins from the left ahead at an acute angle, with a reduced or partial alignment compared to a full sharp junction. It is used where the intersection geometry can be difficult to read at speed.
Purpose and function
This sign warns drivers of an angled junction from the left, supporting earlier scanning and safer speed choice where vehicles may enter, cross, or turn in ways that are not immediately obvious.
Typical applications
- Skewed junctions on rural and regional roads
- Intersections where the joining road alignment is offset or partial
- Approaches with limited visibility to the conflict point

- Unistrut included with the 1200 mm size only
