The SABS Fire Telephone photoluminescent (glow in the dark) safety sign (F48) is a photoluminescent (glow-in-the-dark) fire-fighting and emergency equipment sign used to identify fire safety equipment and controls when lighting fails or smoke reduces visibility. It supports rapid location of essential fire response points.
Purpose and function
This sign identifies the location of fire-fighting equipment, alarm points, or emergency fire controls. It supports rapid wayfinding when time is critical and should be placed so the sign is visible along the approach route to the equipment.

Frame and material options
Photoluminescent signs can be supplied as signfaces only or fitted into aluminium frames. Single-sided and double-sided aluminium frames do not include chain, they are supplied with hooks only. Aluminium frames can be supplied in silver or black.
Chromadek is available on request, but it is not advisable for photoluminescent signage in outdoor applications. For best performance and service life, use materials and mounting options suited to the installation environment.
