The Hairpin Bend (Right) road sign (W206) is a road layout warning sign used to alert drivers to an extremely sharp bend to the right ahead. It is used where a severe alignment change requires significant speed reduction and careful vehicle control.
Purpose and function
This sign warns drivers that the road will turn sharply with limited sight distance. It helps reduce run-off-road incidents and improves driver preparation for heavy braking, low-speed turning, and oncoming traffic risk on narrow alignments.
