The Crossroad road sign (W101) is a road layout warning sign used to alert drivers that a crossroad intersection is ahead. It is installed where cross traffic or turning movements may require drivers to reduce speed and prepare to stop if necessary.
Purpose and function
This sign provides advance warning of a crossroad hazard so drivers can approach cautiously, scan for cross traffic, and maintain safe control through the intersection area.
